TomTom XL 330S
The TomTom XL 330S is a GPS that seems to have either quality issues or it’s just a acquired taste because the users and reviewers aren’t in agreement at all times. One issue that seems to come up often is the poor audio quality and volume, so if you know you don’t have the most quiet car perhaps you better look at another TomTom or a GPS from Garmin instead.

Reviews:
“After reading an early favorable review of the TomTom 130s, I was confident that the XL 330s would be just what I was looking for. But after a weeks’ use, however, I am a little disappointed. ” – Amazon
“Stylish, easy to use, and accurate, the TomTom XL 330S is a great all-around GPS but we wish it was just a little cheaper.” – CNET
” Performance is far superior to value oriented units, and I advocate for the widescreen units and Text-to-speech which you will find on the TomTom ONE XL 330S.” – gpslodge.com

I am very disappointed with this TomTom GPS unit. I had issue with the power. It was hard to switch it on. Hence, it broke down days later. I found out that the switch was made from a cheap combination (plastic lever plus other substances) that was why it was hard to get it to power on. In addition, it has a poor performance and ghastly design.
The TomTom XL 330S is a great GPS with affordable price. It has all the features that I was looking for. It has clear speech and various map views. The GPS works perfectly without any extra accessories. I’ll get maps updates for free from the internet. I am very please with this purchase. Plus, it has great value.
I needed a GPS which can speak the street names. I read reviews about this model and all the reviews said that it can read the street names. So, I went to purchased it and I was happy since It had a decent price. Unfortunately, I found out it doesn’t speak the street names.
