TeleNav is sure trying hard to make an impression with their Shotgun GPS. The main attraction here is the internet connection and getting constant updates, such as where can I find the cheapest gas nearby..etc. It’s pricy and it’s missing a lot of features other more expensive navigators feature but it might be worth it?

Reviews:
“Also unlike Dash, they’re starting at $300 right off the bat. Even if you forego the $12/month subscription, it’s still pre-loaded with 11 million points of interest, and the usual TeleNav GPS features. Whether TeleNav’s well-known name will help them out in a market so cutthroat Dash basically couldn’t survive remains to be seen. And uh, honestly, we’re still waiting for that iPhone app.” – Gizmodo
“Overall, the Telenav is a competitive entry with some blemishes and some great strengths; the latter setting it apart from anything on the market today.” – gpslodge.com
“TeleNav is off to a good start with the Shotgun. While I ran across a decent list of things that needed to be touched up, most of those were relatively small issues that can be addressed through software updates.” – gpsreviews.net
