Sony KDL-46V5100

The Bravia 46″ is another one of those screens that tries to remove the judder from 24 fps movies with a technology called Motionflow and with a refreshrate of 120Hz in this case. Generally with other Motionflow TVs we have watched it works rather well. And this seems to be the case with most of the reviewers out there also. It’s not a LED backlighting LCD but it still does a pretty good job of producing detailed but dark blacks.

Reviews:“Produces relatively deep black levels; accurate color in bright areas; solid dejudder processing in Standard mode; numerous picture controls; plenty of connectivity with four HDMI, two component-video and one PC input” – CNET“Great internal sound system. No screen glare. Comprehensive menu for fine tuning. Only improvement I would like to see, is a faster channel changing response; but it’s still quicker than our other (Sharp) flat screen.” – Amazon user review
