52v5100

An upper midrange LCD TV thats falling a little short compared to other Sony and Samsung in the higher price range and that doesn’t offer much more then the cheaper LCD TVs from Sony/LG/Panasonic/Samsung. I might sound harsh here in the beginning and there isn’t any thing wrong with KDL-52V5100 it’s actually a really good TV if you believe what you hear. It delivers great black levels punchy but accurate colors but in the end it’s no way near as good as the high end models, especially the LED models, and there is to little difference in IQ if you spend $500 less.

Reviews:

“This is a great tv. The picture is amazing when you have the 1080p dvd or hd signal. Menu is the best and easy to navigate. TV looks cool. It is the best tv i have owned. But, there are a few minor gripes..” – Sonystyle user review

“BOTTOM LINE, at $1,823, I am happy with the TV even after the first one was defective. I found the Samsung to be too glossy a picture and didn’t like the touch of red, so the 52v5100 was the perfect TV for me at that price. Buy from Amazon, not those other tricksters.” – Amazon user review

“The commendable picture quality of Sony’s entry-level 120Hz-equipped LCD makes it a very good value.” – CNET
