LG 50PQ30

The LG 50PQ30 is a 50″ Plasma TV thats moderately priced and and still delivers a great HDTV experience with good black levels and accurate color rendition. As with other LG Plasma TV the 50PQ30 features a dynamic contrast of 2,000,000:1. There aren’t many reviews to be found at the moment for this TV however it’s the usual pros and cons for a Plasma that are discussed mostly. What stands out a little bit for LG though is that you have the possibility to do very detailed calibrations of the TV something thats often lacking on other sets. This might be a feature that appeals to a select few but it is nice to see that on a moderately priced TV you get to tweak the colors to your perfection.

Reviews
“It’s hard to go wrong at this price with any of this year’s sets, but the LG is the most stylish and best-priced of the lot. Given its natural color, solid build quality, full feature set, and fantastic image quality, the set recommends itself. Buy with confidence.” – Amazon user review
“For a 50″ TV at this price point you cannot find a better one. The colors pop out at you. I went to Sears to compare this set with Panasonic and Samsung and this TV provides the best picture out of the 3″ – Amazon user review
